Common Questions#

Here are common questions that we receive regarding the onboarding process.

How long will the onboarding take?#

The time varies widely across organizations due to varying levels of development bandwith, team size, business priorities, etc.
The best way we've found to answer this question is to breakdown the onboarding into stages.
Stage 1 - Mapping
Stage 2 - Survey Management
Stage 3 - Respondent-Survey Flow
Stage 4 - Testing & Optimization
Each of these stages will take different amounts of effort due to how your platform is architected but the safe bet is to say that it can take a business week for each stage.
The pace is entirely up to you - we're here to help remove barriers and help you clear any hurdles.
Lastly, the best way to understand your specific timeline is for us to have a robust kickoff call. During this call we can discuss you specific needs, questions, and any concerns.

Do you have a test or staging environment?#

Yes, we have a Sandbox environment that is used for testing and onboarding efforts. Once you have a green light to move to Production, the InnovateMR team will transfer the necesary configurations accordingly.

How do I get access to the API Platform?#

A member of the InnovateMR team will provide you API access keys to our Sandbox environment upon request or during kickoff meeting.
Access to the Production API will be given once the benchmark quality survey has been completed and both teams are ready for a launch in Production.

What can be expected from InnovateMR during the onboarding process?#

We're committed to helping our partnership be advantageous for both of us. So think of us a technical consultants who are here to offer guidance
Our goal is to give you the resources you need to integrate effectively and stay out of your way as much as you would like.
We offer real-time communication via Slack, if your team uses that. Tailored advice based on your situation. Testing guidance. Performance suggestions. And more.

What will not be provided by InnovateMR during the onboarding process?#

As much as we'd like to, we will not be writing code for your team. We're happy to provide guidance but we lack the insight into your platform to develop custom solutions.
While we advise on Survey Inventory management practices, we avoid dictating how you should select and prioritize Surveys. There are many ways to go about this but it is your business decision to make.

What happens after we are fully launched in Production?#

Just like human partnerships, we view the technical partnership between our two organizations as living, breathing, and dynamic. That is why we want to engage in monthly reviews of performance so that information can be shared and enhancments made by both parties.
Once a month, you'll receive a report of how your traffic is performning (Conv Rate, EPC, Statuses, Terminations, etc.) along with recommendations and steps to remediate any sizeable issue.
It is typical to make tweaks to mappings, redirect urls, and other areas during the first few weeks/month after being launched.

We've integrated with other platforms and marketplaces, what is different about the InnovateMR platform?#

The name of the game is the same: get respondents to surveys in hopes they complete them. However, we do approach some areas different than other platforms.
Respondent Quality is very important to us and because of this we utilize several layers of quality checks / fraud detection mechanisms throughout the Respondent-to-Survey flow. Also, in areas where we do overlap with other platforms with respect to quality, we tend to have the scrutiny dialed up.
This stance can cause some Suppliers to see higher-than-expected terminations due to Quality-related reasons. If this should happen, the InnovateMR team is glad to discuss the details and work together on ways to remediate where possible.
Additionally, we also do not require a 100% match of a respondent qualifications to survey targeting. This means that if a survey targets 4 different demographic questions but you only have 2 of the 4 pieces of profiling information for a respondent, you can still send them into the survey. We will ask the two remaining questions to the respondent once they land on our platform.

What is the Quality Benchmark Survey and is it mandatory?#

For Suppliers who are new to working with us at InnovateMR, we require a benchmark survey which allows you and your respondents to get a feel for our platform and allows us to observe a sample of the quality of your respondents.
The benchmark survey takes place after you've completed the core work of the onboarding process and requires ~300 Completes. It is not an InnovateMR client survey but instead a straightforward questionnaire that asks representative questions from the respondents.
Once the benchmark survey is completed, member of InnovateMR will review the results and disuss the finding with your team.
Please note that we do not issue compensation for completes recorded on the benchmark survey.
